This mansion is also known as Gazi Osman Pasha mansion. The reason is that the mansion was built by Abdulhamid II in 1883 and personally gifted to Gazi Osman Pasha, the hero of the Pleven War. Then, with the marriage of Osman Pasha’s son Kemalettin Pasha to Naime Sultan, the daughter of Abdulhamid II, the mansion began to be called Naime Sultan mansion.
Finally, when the mansion was gifted to Fehime Sultan, the daughter of Sultan Murad V, in 1901, it started to be called by this name.
The mansion, which was used as an orphanage and then a tobacco warehouse after 1926, later served as Gazi Osman Pasha Secondary School. Unfortunately, the mansion burned in 2002 and was severely damaged.
Stylistically, the mansion, built in the Neobaroque style, is one of the six Hanım Sultan Palaces in Istanbul. Next to it is Hatice Sultan Mansion.
